I've been using Go for backend development recently, and I've really started to appreciate how simple and practical the language is.

What do you think makes Go stand out compared with languages like Java or C#?

For me, the biggest advantages are the simplicity of the language, fast compilation, excellent tooling, built-in concurrency, and how easy it is to deploy a Go application as a single binary.

I'm curious what experienced Go developers think. What made you choose Go, and where do you think it is genuinely better than other languages?
